How Kazakh flax can meet EU requirements in 2026: quality standards

In December 2025, Kazakhstan set an all-time record—178.3 thousand tons of flaxseed in a single month. EU tariffs on Russian flax (20% in 2025 and 50% from 2026) opened the European market to Kazakhstan, where we are actively replacing the former leader. Main destinations include Belgium, Poland, Germany, along with a steady increase in shipments to China.
